Don't worry about early activation:

Q11: What happens if I lose my phone with an eSIM?

A: Different from physical SIM - here's what happens:

Immediate steps:

1. Report phone lost to your carrier

   • They can disable your home SIM/eSIM remotely

2. Use Find My iPhone

   • iCloud.com → Find My
   • Mark as Lost (locks phone)
   • Erase iPhone remotely if needed

3. Contact Bitjoy support

   • Report eSIM as lost
   • They can deactivate it

Getting eSIM on new phone:

For your home carrier eSIM:

• Contact your carrier (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon)
• They'll send you new QR code for new phone
• Usually free, takes 1-2 hours

For Bitjoy travel eSIM:

• Contact support@thebitjoy.com
• Provide: Order number, proof of identity
• They can:
  • Transfer remaining data to new eSIM
  • Issue new QR code
  • Refund unused portion (within 5-day guarantee)

Prevention tips:

Screenshot your QR codes

• Save to iCloud or email yourself

• If phone breaks/lost, you have backup

  Enable Find My iPhone

• Settings > [Your Name] > Find My

• Can remotely lock/erase

  Keep order confirmation emails

• Contains order number needed for support
